• Charms and bracelets can get caught; wear on your non-primary wrist to reduce bumps.
• WARNING: Keep bracelets away from electrical outlets and unplug items with your primary hand.
• Remove your bracelet before vigorous physical activity.

Care & Cleaning

Polishing regularly reduces tarnish and keeps jewelry shining. Our Bronze and Silver Polishing Cloth works for silver, gold, bronze, copper, stainless steel, brass, palladium and platinum.

Use the inner layer to polish and outer layer to buff. Avoid over-polishing to preserve oxidation and patina.

WARNING: Do not use this cloth on pearls, gemstones, 24K gold or leather.

Moveable link styles need periodic checks due to metal friction. Daily wear accelerates wear on links.

Cuff & Hook-On Styles

These should fit without bending. Slide on from the narrow part of the wrist. Bending weakens metal.

Sterling silver and ceramic jewelry can be cleaned in an ultrasonic bath or at our retail stores.

Avery Art Glass

Remove during physical activities. Avoid chemicals and perfumes. Clean beads with mild soapy water and a soft brush.

Enamel

Use polishing cloth or gem cleaner. Can also be cleaned with ultrasonic methods. Avoid chemicals like polish remover or gasoline.

Oxidation

Oxidation varies naturally. Over time it may lighten. Avoid harsh cleaners. We offer re-oxidizing services.

Gemstones

Remove gemstone jewelry before physical activities. Many can be cleaned with soapy water, but avoid harsh chemicals and heat.

Pearls

Keep away from cosmetics and chemicals. Wipe after wearing and store separately. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners.

Doublet & Triplet Gems

Avoid chemicals, water, humidity and ultrasonic cleaners. Wipe gently with a soft cloth only.

Leather

Avoid moisture, perfumes, chemicals and physical activity. Leather ages naturally and may stretch when exposed to moisture.
